Arboricultural Impact Assessment Reports
An Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) identifies possible impacts on trees to be retained. An AIA usually accompanies a development application (DA) to be lodged with the consent authority (Council).
All AIA reports are completed in accordance with AS4970-2009 and relevant planning policies.

Tree Maintenance and Management Reports
Treeism specialise in tree health assessment, maintenance and management advice.
By analysing the site conditions, previous management, symptoms of stress and site usage, we make tree and site specific recommendations for management based on current Horticultural and Arboricultural best practice.

Tree Surveys, Audits and Mapping
Treeism can conduct regular, or one-off, tree audits. Audits can be used to manage your assets effectively and are often required to meet liability requirements. Information such as tree risk, condition, ongoing maintenance and planting opportunities etc. can be collected. Treeism can spatially locate trees with survey level accuracy and issue reports, maps and data in various formats.

Expert Witness Statements and Reports for Land and Environment Court
In all jurisdictions in Australia, experts are part of the litigation process. Depending on the court and the matter under consideration, expert evidence may be required of numerous professionals including arborists.
A consultant may need to give evidence in the court room where the expert has an overriding duty to assist the court impartially on matters relevant to the expert witness’s area of expertise. Treeism can provide expert witness representation in relation to Arboricultural matters.

Hazard and Risk Assessment Consultation and Reporting
As well as having Diploma (AQF Level 5) arboricultural qualifications Treeism staff are trained in industry best practice Tree Risk Assessment methodologies. These include the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)
Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (QTRA) and Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA). We use our experience and qualifications to deliver a common sense approach to tree risk assessment and management.

Pest and Disease Identification and Diagnosis
We specialise in the diagnosis and identification of pests and diseases. Investigation of the site conditions, previous management, symptoms of stress and, where necessary, utilising lab analysis. Treeism can determine probable causes of tree decline or damage and make site, and tree, specific recommendations based on current Horticultural and Arboricultural best practice.

Preliminary Tree Assessment Reports
A Preliminary Tree Assessment (PTA) should take place at the beginning of the project, once site surveys have been completed. A preliminary report provides quantitative and qualitative information on the trees. The trees are numbered and assessed by the project arborist and are then allocated a retention value. The PTA provides arboricultural data and information to guide the layout of the development prior to submission of a Development Application (DA).
All development reports are completed in line with AS4970-2009 and relevant planning policies.

Tree Protection Plans and Specifications
A tree protection plan (drawing) shows the Tree Protection Zones (TPZs) for trees being
retained and any other other specifications required for tree protection. A copy of this plan and associated specifications will form part of the development plans. The tree protection plan should be included in subsequent construction documentation. All development reports are completed in line with AS4970-2009 and relevant planning policies.

Project Arborist Services
A Project Arborist (PA) is responsible for carrying out tree assessments, report preparation, consultation with designers, specifying tree protection measures, monitoring and certification. Treeism's PA's are both suitably experienced and competent in arboriculture having acquired a minimum Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Level 5, Diploma of Horticulture (Arboriculture).
